Parker House falls into three new categories; now a whole home supplier

At the Market, Parker House will introduce Pure Modern, a new group of full bedrooms.

HIGHLIGHT – Primarily a provider of upholstery, home office, entertainment and dining furniture, Parker House will expand into three new market categories: bedroom, stationary upholstery and lift chairs.

“This October, Parker House is becoming a whole-home supplier by entering three completely new categories,” said Roberta Woodard, vice president. “For the first time, it also adds restoration introductions to its Crossings collection of eclectic, globally inspired furniture.”

Woodard said retail prices vary depending on the cost of freight and whether a retailer buys a container directly or a warehouse. But generally, canapes range from $1,299 to $1,499; modular sectionals $1,999 to $3,499 depending on configuration; beds, $799 to $1499; and lift chairs, at $699.

Entire four-piece bedroom sets will range from $1,999 to $2,499.

New bedroom items include complete bedroom groups, which include beds, dressers, nightstands and mirrors, to two of its best-known collections: Americana Modern and Pure Modern.

Even though the company has been providing upholstered beds for quite some time, the company considers it new to the bedroom category as it now offers bedrooms on a large scale.

Americana Modern includes under-bed storage, USB chargers, and dresser drawers with built-in jewelry trays. The collection features a crisp white cotton finish with a contrasting distressed natural top that the company says complements modern farmhouse and cottage aesthetics.

Pure Modern features a luxurious mix of materials, trendy lighting, stone casings, integrated touch lighting and USB chargers. The look is inspired by geometric shapes and architectural influences.

For stationary upholstery, the company will unveil its Cozy Living collection. Parker House claims that the collection presents the trendiest interior design directions.

And, the company highlighted its new lift chairs.

“Unlike medical-looking lift chairs, the clean lines and classic beauty of these Parker House lift chairs feel right at home in stylish interiors,” the company said in a statement. “Fashionable fabric options and exquisite tailoring ensure these designs complement any living space or seating area.”

The company will also add dining items to its existing Crossings collection, which now includes a variety of casual dining tables in different shapes and sizes.

As with any market, the company plans to launch several new power move introductions. Parker House will be exhibiting in its space at 309 S. Elm St. in High Point.
