SOUTH KOREA. Swedish beauty and wellness tech house Foreo has teamed up with South Korean beauty specialty store Chicor.
Foreo has opened a back wall presence at Chicor Daegu, which is located in the Shinsegae department store.
Launched in 2016, Chicor is the beauty chain brand of Shinsegae Group. In 2019, the retailer expanded the Chicor brand to include both offline and online stores, including duty-free. Chicor currently houses 250 brands with 24 stores in South Korea. This includes Lancôme, MAC Cosmetics and Laneige.
Foreo is opening three more outlets with Chicor in Seoul’s Gangnam and Hongdae districts this month.
To celebrate the openings, Foreo runs exclusive promotions offering customers additional benefits and offers when shopping with Chicor.
Foreo has continued to expand its network in Asia-Pacific. The partnership, according to Foreo, will increase brand awareness and sales in South Korea, a key Asian beauty market.
